He's the founder and executive chairman of the Jarden Corporation, which, along with K2 Skis, owns big outdoor brands like Volkl, Rawlings, and Marmot. But he doesn't just oversee a company that sells outdoor gear: He is also its target customer.

????Last year, the 46-year-old ran ten 10K races in ten days, all in different states, as part of a company-wide fitness program. Franklin is also a regular triathlete, and has even done Badwater, an infamous "ultramarathon" that covers 135 miles from Death Valley to Mount Whitney, CA.
