????我17歲離家去德里的印度理工學(xué)院(Indian Institute of Technology)學(xué)習(xí)工程學(xué),，離家前父親給了我一條建議：“仰望星空，腳踏實(shí)地,?！蔽艺J(rèn)為放到商界和領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力方面，它意味著要有大膽的遠(yuǎn)見(jiàn),，同時(shí)又不失對(duì)執(zhí)行細(xì)節(jié)的關(guān)注,。這也是我的個(gè)人口頭禪，一直幫助我認(rèn)清現(xiàn)實(shí),。

????2.你最近讀過(guò)的一本書(shū)是什么,？

????我剛剛讀完了亨利?詹姆斯的《螺絲在擰緊》（Turn of the Screw）。這部小說(shuō)篇幅不長(zhǎng),，但扣人心弦,。有些地方模棱兩可，有很多不同的闡釋,。很是吸引人,。我眼下剛開(kāi)始讀艾麗絲?門(mén)羅的《仇恨、友誼,、殷勤,、愛(ài)情與婚姻》（Hateship, Friendship, Courtship,Loveship, Marriage: Stories）,。她贏得了2013年諾貝爾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)，鑒于她的寫(xiě)作才華,，堪稱實(shí)至名歸。

????不只生一個(gè)孩子,。如果我早點(diǎn)明白一些關(guān)于職業(yè)和為人父母的道理,，我會(huì)多生幾個(gè)孩子。

????5.如果有機(jī)會(huì),，你希望創(chuàng)立哪一家初創(chuàng)企業(yè),？

????嗯……我不是那種人，不會(huì)想太多“我本來(lái)可以,，我本來(lái)能夠,，我本來(lái)應(yīng)該?！笨萍嫉镊攘υ谟?，大家總是有機(jī)會(huì)在一家大公司內(nèi)部、或從零開(kāi)始建立一家“初創(chuàng)公司”,。

????Cisco System's (CSCO) Chief Technology and Strategy Officer Padmasree Warrior may help the company navigate the competitive digital networking sector, but she also has her hands in the retail industry. In September, Warrior became a director at Gap Inc. (GPS), adding tech insight to enhance shoppers' experiences and helping balance out the famed organization's male-heavy board.

????1.What is the best advice you ever received?

????When I left home at 17 to study engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, my dad gave me this advice, "Keep your eyes on the stars and feet on the ground." I translate this to business and my leadership by having a bold vision while staying focused on the details of execution. This has been my personal mantra also and helps me to keep it real all the time

????2. What was the last book you read?

????Just finished reading Turn of the Screw by Henry James. This novella is short yet gripping, ambiguous, and opens up so many different interpretations. It's fascinating. I just started reading Hateship, Friendship, Courtship,Loveship, Marriage: Stories by Alice Munro. She won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2013, a well-deserved honor for her talent as a writer.

????3. What would you say to a group of young people looking to enter the tough job market?

????Pursue all avenues, and push through open doors.

????4. What was your biggest missed opportunity?

????Having more than one child. If I knew then what I know now, about career and parenting, I would have had more kids.

????5. What is one startup you would have wanted to found?

????Hmm ... I am not the type to think a lot about "would have, could have, should have." The beauty of technology is that there is always an opportunity to do a "startup" inside a big company or from the ground up.
